Data controller
Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), the data controller is Emircan Turhan, operating under the Mercan Pictures brand. You can reach us at info@mercanpictures.com or +90 545 215 16 84.
What we process
When you use the contact form or write to us on WhatsApp or by email, we process your name, the name of your business or brand, your phone number or email address and the content of your message.
The contact form does not store your data on our server. It prepares your message and opens it in WhatsApp or your email app; it reaches us only when you send it.
Why we process it
To reply to your enquiry, discuss your project, prepare a quote and, if we work together, deliver the service.
Legal basis
Processing is based on Article 5(2) of the KVKK: it is directly related to entering into or performing a contract, and necessary for our legitimate interests.
Transfers
Messages sent via WhatsApp are transmitted through the WhatsApp service provided by Meta Platforms, and emails through Google Workspace (Google). These providers may store data on servers outside Türkiye. We do not share your data with anyone else.
The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. The showreel is embedded with YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and loads only when you press play. In both cases Google may receive your browser’s IP address.
Retention
We keep your data until your enquiry is concluded or, if we work together, for the period required by law, and delete it afterwards.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing and who it is shared with, request correction or deletion, object to outcomes that affect you and claim compensation for damages.
